How the fee works on larger engagements
Our platform fee steps down once a single talent earns above a monthly threshold with you — so high-volume relationships get cheaper, not more expensive.

What "protected payments" means — and what it does not
What it means: fixed-price, hourly and recurring contracts are funded on-platform before work begins, and funds are released according to the contract's release rules. If something goes wrong, disputes run through a neutral three-stage process with an independent appeal, and the release of funds still held on-platform can be paused while that happens.
What it is not: we are not a bank, a custodian or a funds-holding service, we never take possession of your money, and we don't promise that every dispute ends in a full refund. Funds are held and moved by regulated third-party payment providers under their own terms. Any limits that follow from those providers are published here before launch.

When does Magasaka launch?
We're building now. The waitlist gets the launch invitation first, and no launch date is promised until it's real.
Is it really free for talent?
Yes — 0% platform fee during the MVP. You keep 100% of contract earnings. Payment-provider costs linked to moving money to you are disclosed before withdrawal.
Do I have to subscribe as a client?
No. Open is free forever. Pro and Scale are for clients who hire often and want unlimited publishing, unlimited direct contacts and advanced filters.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Changes take effect for the following billing period; your existing contracts and conversations are unaffected.
Do paid plans get better talent?
No. Every plan searches the same talent pool with the same matching engine. Paid plans add filters and capacity, not ranking.
